General rules and rental conditions
Marlove Cottage
We first of all welcome you to Marlove Cottage. Living in South Africa's nature is perhaps different from what you are used to. For that reason, among other things, we have drawn up the following conditions and rules. If you book Marlove Cottage, you also confirm that you adhere to the house rules below, as well as the rules that apply in Matloth Park
- Respect Marloth Park and Marlove Cottage, both the interior of the Cottage and the surroundings.
- In Marlove Cottage, including patio, smoking is not allowed. Outside is no problem, although we ask you to clean the butts and ashes. Remnants left behind are harmful to the animals.
- When you leave Marlove Cottage, even if only for a short while, close all doors, windows and curtains carefully. Make sure your belongings are always out of sight.
- Switch on the alarm at all times upon departure.
- Do not leave food outside on the patio or braai area, or visible indoors on, for example, a table or counter. Baboons and monkeys can cause a huge mess and damage, even if you don't see them, they are always close by.
- Always place the cushions of the outdoor furniture inside on departure. Baboons tear them to pieces.
- Do not simply put waste outside. Take it as quickly as possible to the garbage collection point at the gate 2. The waste is collected here.
- A braai is part of the South African way of life. However, when using it, make sure that the fire is completely extinguished after use.
- In South Africa, a short interruption in the supply of water and / or electricity can occur every now and then. Unfortunately we have no influence on this and cannot take any responsibility for this.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Do not feed the animals that walk around the house, with the exception of the chunks specially for this that are for sale in the supermarkets at the Natuurpart
